History

OCULUS Architects, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Hugh Cotter and Steve Connelly with a vision and goal to provide quality professional architectural services to our clients. In recent years, we have built a reputation for providing quality planning and cost effective design solutions to our Clients.

A history of successful projects has led to ongoing relationships with many of our Clients including the University of San Francisco, the University of California, San Francisco and Blood Centers of the Pacific among others.

Expertise

The practice specializes in medium-sized architectural and engineering projects and has developed considerable expertise working within existing facilities, while addressing the unique and challenging design parameters that such projects impose on the design process.

Portfolio

The practice’s portfolio includes many project types common to both public and private clients, from faculty and student housing, offices and teaching facilities, to biomedical research laboratories. With the firm’s experience working with a variety of groups and project types come the ability to focus on proper sequential planning, attention to defined project time scheduling, and responsiveness to budget parameters.
